It was a light week for the EHL Team with one game on the road against the New Jersey 87s. The Premier Team also faced the 87s, but then travelled to New Jersey to face the Bears.
EHL at 87s (Wednesday)
The Huntsmen scored early thanks to Damon Warren’s 8th goal of the season. The 87s responded with a power play goal and then added another quick tally to take the lead. Just before the midway point Devin England evened the game 2-2. In the 2nd, the 87s bookended the scoring with an early goal and a power play goal in the final minutes and had control 4-2. New Jersey added one more goal in the 3rd period and won the game 5-2. Illus made 40 saves in the loss.
Premier vs 87s (Friday)
The Huntsmen had a power play but the 87s scored shorthanded to open the scoring. A couple of minutes later New Jersey doubled their lead. Pennsylvania answered when Mirigliano slipped through the defense and set up Raleigh Radkowski net front making it a 2-1 game. New Jersey would end the period up 3-1. In the 2nd, NJ would score a power play goal and an even strength goal taking a 5-1 lead. Radkowski on the rush fed the puck to Cullen Heintz in the final moments of the period for the Huntsmen’s second goal of the game. The 87s added three more goals in the 3rd period. Trent Krecker scored a power play goal for PA but lost 8-3.
Premier at Bears (Saturday)
The Bears dominated the 1st period outshooting the Huntsmen 16-8 and had a 2-0 lead. Early in the 2nd period the Bears extended their lead to 3-0. The Huntsmen fought back with two late goals. Mirigliano scored on the power play and Kozlowski beat the buzzer, making it 3-2. In the 3rd, the Bears gained some insurance with a power play goal and held on for the 4-2 win.

EHL
The Huntsmen will be back on home ice and at full strength as Xavier Tremblay, Ryan Arendes, John Manzi and Tucker Miller all return from the EHL All-Star College Series. They will rematch with the 87s, in leg two of four in a row against them. After the win over the Huntsmen, the 87s visited the Bears and left with a 4-3 shootout win to improve to 4-6 on the year. The Huntsmen will travel to New Jersey on Friday to face the 87s again.
Premier
The Huntsmen will be on the road against the New Jersey Renegades. The Huntsmen lost the first meeting 3-2. Braden Kozlowski and Trip Young scored for the Huntsmen and Kohen Pirrone made 26 saves in the loss. The Renegades (4-4) are coming off a 4-1 loss to the Bears, and a 6-5 win over the Philadelphia Little Flyers.
