Beginning in 2025-26, The Exton Dyna-Mite Program will become part of the Pennsylvania Huntsmen’s comprehensive hockey development pipeline, which spans from the earliest stages of youth hockey all the way to junior and NCAA competition. Building on Power Play Rinks’ legacy of hockey excellence, this program will play a crucial role in the development of young players, beginning in the Mite division and progressing all the way to junior hockey.

Legacy of the Power Play Rinks Mite Program

Power Play Rinks has been at the forefront of premier Mite hockey development since the early 2000s, offering young players the opportunity to develop their skills in a competitive yet nurturing environment. Over the years, the Exton Dyna-mites program, now the PA Huntsmen Mites, has become synonymous with high-level instruction and success, producing players who have gone on to achieve great things in the hockey world.

Transition to the Pennsylvania Huntsmen Program

Beginning in the 2025-26 season, the Exton Dyna-mites program will transition into the Pennsylvania Huntsmen hockey program. This shift will unify the Mite program with the Huntsmen’s broader development structure, aligning the program with the Huntsmen’s mission of fostering elite hockey players from youth through junior hockey.

The Pennsylvania Huntsmen were established in 2022 as a junior hockey program to provide high-level competition and development opportunities for players aiming to advance to the collegiate level. Playing in the Eastern Hockey League (EHL), a prestigious U20 junior hockey league, the Huntsmen focus on developing players who are ready to commit to NCAA hockey programs.

In 2023, the Huntsmen expanded their operations by launching a U18 program, designed to prepare players for the transition to junior and college hockey. In 2025, the Huntsmen will expand to the U16 level.
